MagnaTank™
Behavior monitoring of groups of zebrafish larvae in petri dishes. MagnaTank was our first application of Remanent Imaging to zebrafish behavior, and it produced the larval tracking videos on this site. PiscisTrack™ software included.
Many larvae, several dishes, one camera
MagnaTank images zebrafish larvae in petri dishes under darkfield illumination. It was built in two configurations, with eight dishes or four. Small, transparent larvae are hard to see with conventional imaging; with Remanent Imaging they appear as bright, continuous trails.
Every movement of every larva is captured, so individual larvae can be tracked even in large groups.
Every larva, every movement
Each larva receives its own track, shown in color, with its activity summarized alongside.
PiscisTrack™, the software that runs MagnaTank, now also powers CanaryTank.
